You don't have to figure this out alone.
Got a threatening call about taxes or immigration?
Hang up. The CRA will never demand payment by gift card, cryptocurrency, or money transfer, and will never threaten you with arrest or deportation. Call the official number on canada.ca yourself, and report it to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
